 UNIT 19: PLACES OF INTEREST 
 Lesson 1: part 1, 2, 3
I. OBJECTIVES:
By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:
1. Knowledge:
- use the words beautiful, exciting, fantastic, peaceful in relation to the topic 
 “Places of interest”.
- use What do you think of _____? - I think it's / they’re _____. to ask and answer 
 questions about someone's opinion of a place.
- Vocabulary: peaceful, exciting, beautiful, fantastic, waterfall, twin towers
- Structures: A: What do you think of Ban Gioc waterfall?
 B: I think it’s beautifull.
- Skills: speaking and listening
2. Competences: 
- Communication and collaboration: work in pairs and groups to complete the 
learning tasks.
- Self-control and independent learning: perform speaking tasks.
3. Attitude:
- Gain appreciation for the diversity of human experiences and the value of 
preserving historical and cultural landmarks.
